10/24/2006
THOMASVILLE, GA; October 24, 2006. Cobblestone Mill, a growing brand of premium specialty breads and rolls from Flowers Foods Bakeries Group, has introduced 12-Grain Sub Rolls to its lineup. Made with whole grains, these rolls have zero grams of trans fat, are low in fat, and contain no cholesterol. Each roll also provides 10% of the daily value of calcium and is a good source of fiber.

The new rolls, sold in a six-pack, have a soft texture and a great flavor that comes from a blend of 12 grains, including whole wheat, corn meal, flaxseed, oats, and brown rice. Cobblestone Mill 12-Grain Sub Rolls are available in grocery stores throughout the Sunbelt and mid-Atlantic states. Suggested retail price varies by market, but the rolls are priced competitively with similar products in the Cobblestone Mill line.

"Our Cobblestone Mill brand has grown over the past 23 years and for good reason," says Brent Bradshaw, brand manager for Flowers' Bakeries Group. "Cobblestone Mill specialty breads and rolls offer consumers heartier flavors and textures and are baked with premium ingredients. Our new 12-Grain Sub Rolls deliver the benefits of whole grain goodness with great taste"
